Kapuskasing Public Library Author Invite: Charles A. Beaudoin

The Kapuskasing Public Library has invited author Charles A. Beaudoin to discuss his new book “The Reesor Siding Tragedy, Canada’s Bloodiest Labour Conflict.”
The event will take place at the Golden Age Centre on Thursday, October 3rd from 2-4 p.m.
People will remember that one of the darkest moments in Kapuskasing’s history occurred in February of 1963, when three men died during an infamous confrontation between striking unionists and independent woodcutters at Reesor Siding.
Mr. Beaudoin will read from his book, discuss his research methods, and answer questions. His book will also be available for purchase.
