It has been confirmed by the OPP the human remains found in Fournier Township last week belong to Aline Lalonde, also known as Aline New.
The OPP called in extra staff and search teams when she was reported missing earlier this month in Cochrane.
The OPP has charged a 41-year-old Cochrane man with second degree murder in connection with her death.
Police say they received a call earlier last week with details of the remains found in just southwest of Cochrane.
The court date is set for June 7th in Cochrane.
