Ontario Provincial Police were busy nabbing impaired drivers with four stopped in a span of nine days beginning earlier last week April 14th and concluded on Tuesday in the Kapuskasing area.
Three of the four drivers were impaired by drugs, while the other, traveling on an ATV was originally stopped for a helmet violation but later found to have consumed alcohol.
In one incident on Highway 11 west in Val Rita a driver was also arrested for possession of methamphetamine and obstructing an officer along with being under the influence of drugs. A 36 year old from the community remains in police custody until an appearance next month.
