The riding of Mushkegowuk-James Bay has its recount of the ballots by hand from the provincial election beginning next Monday. NDP incumbent Guy Bourgouin edged Conservative and Kapuskasing Mayor Dave Plourde by eight votes.
A judge, as well as scrutineers from both candidates will be on hand for the recount. It’s not known how long that process will take.
