A Whitby resident is facing multiple charges following an investigation by Ontario Provincial Police in Kapuskasing.
Police said that on Wednesday morning they received a report that a victim’s former partner had threatened to share intimate images of them online. Police add that the investigation determined that the accused had also assaulted the victim, committed mischief, theft and violated court release conditions.
A 35 year old is facing 14 different charges including four counts of mischief, as well two counts of assault. The accused is also charged with extortion, sexual assault, criminal harassment, theft under $5,000, failure to comply with undertaking and breach of recognizance.
