The deadline for those interested in running in the provincial election is fast approaching. That date is next Thursday, Feb. 13 at 2 pm.
As of Today, in the Timmins riding there are just two running including incumbent George Pirie of the Conservatives and Corey Lepage of the New Democrats.
In the riding of Timiskaming-Cochrane it’s incumbent John Vanthof of the NDP, Tory Delaurier of the Conservatives and Kris Rivard of the Green Party.
Two candidates are listed in the riding of Mushkegowuk-James Bay: incumbent Guy Bourgouin of the NDP and Conservative Dave Plourde.
Voters head to the polls on Thursday, Feb. 27.
