Abundant Life Church in Kapuskasing is looking for your support to help others in need during the holiday season. Church member Evelyn Lemon says they’re collecting items for both Habitat Interlude and the Northeastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services Christmas Angel Campaign.
“So NEOFACS could use educational toys, barbies and dolls, trucks and cars, action figures, arts and crafts,” she said. “And for Habitat we have ladies and children – things like tooth brushes, tooth paste, combs, hand lotion and deodorant, shampoo.”
Lemon says the church has been assisting women and children at Habitat Interlude for a number of years.
“Abundant Life has been generous to donate every Christmas since 2013, and the staff and the recipients of the gifts are always so appreciative,” she added.
Toys can also be dropped off for the NEOFACS Community Angel Campaign at the church on Ash Street during weekdays as well as on Sundays.
