After a two-year absence, the Notre Dame Hospital Foundation in Hearst is reviving its 50-50 draw.
Foundation director Francine Laberge says tickets are now on sale for the first draw on July 26th.
One will take place every two months.
Laberge says tickets are available online at $10.00 for ten, $20.00 for 60, and $40.00 for 400.
“We’ve really tried to be competitive with other hospitals, because of course we’re not going to beat the Thunder Bay hospital or Timmins hospital with huge cashout prizes,” she notes, “but we will definitely be able to support this draw.”
The money raised this time will be used to buy a handheld luminometer, to ensure that surfaces are clean and bacteria-free. It’s worth $5,500.
“We should be able to do this with our first draw,” Laberge confidently predicts. “We’re already over $2,000. We have about six-and-a-half weeks left, so I don’t wee any problems reaching that goal for this one.”
You can get your tickets on the foundation’s 50-50 website.
