Sensenbrenner Hospital Foundation to hold raffle-draw to benefit chemotherapy department

The chemotherapy department at Sensenbrenner Hospital in Kapuskasing will benefit from a big raffle-draw during The Year-End Classic Hockey Tournament at the Sports Palace early next month.

Hospital foundation project manager Mireille Dubosq says they were approached by several of their major donors to take part. She adds the draw will have a total of 10 different items.

“The foundation is gonna be pitching in so we’re gonna have a 75 inch TV, a JBL Party Box, from our different sponsors – 10 yards of A gravel by Nadeau Haulage, a Huskavarna brush cutter by Claude and Debbie D’Amour,” she said.

There is also a BBQ from Don Hebert Trucking, and a fire pit from Moonbeam Machine Shop, a cooler from North 49 Powersports, plus two $250 grocery cards for Independent Grocery from D’Amours and Sons Equipment.

Tickets will be available this week for just $10 and the draw made at The Year End Hockey Classic on the first weekend of April 4,5,6 at the Sports Palace.
