This Friday’s Moose FM Community Cares Radiothon could surpass the $400,000 mark in fundraising since it began four years ago.
The Radiothon, which benefits both the Sensenbrenner Hospital Foundation in Kapuskasing and in the Notre Dame Hospital Foundation in Hearst, was recognized on a national level by being chosen as runner up in the Best Community Service Initiative in the Broadcast Dialogue Canadian Radio Awards.
The winner was from Prince George, British Columbia.
