Sensenbrenner Hospital foundation wraps up dialysis unit project

The Sensenbrenner Hospital Foundation has completed fundraising on the Dialysis Unit Project. During a presentation on Friday morning, chairman

Gilbert Peters announced that the hospital’s auxiliary had given the foundation $85,000 while the Knights of Columbus added $25,000 to get to the final target of $472,500.

“The ladies auxiliary has always been an integral part of the success of the foundation, the hospital and everything else when it comes to fundraising for equipment for our frontline workers,” he said.

Auxiliary president Wendy Guillemette says it was an important project to step up and help.

“We raised the money through the gift shop, the hospital gift shop and Hey Day that we host and take the money and then we donate it back,” she said.
