A Hearst resident is up on nine charges following his arrest by Ontario Provincial Police last Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Police responded to a call of a theft from a motel room on Front Street in the community and located the person who was in possession of the item plus a weapon and methamphetamine.
A 47 year-old is facing four counts of failure to comply with a release order, one count each of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, break-enter-and-theft, theft under $5000 and unauthorized possession of a weapon, a switchblade.
