Peck’s Fright Walk returns to Hearst for second year

A Hearst resident is hoping to get everyone in a ghostly Halloween spirit this week. For the second year in a row, Miquel Peck has created a haunted house at 501 Alexandra Street and is inviting everyone to walk through and share his love of the spooky season.

He couldn’t believe how well the first one went.

“Last year we had a total of 400 visitors through the five days we did the haunted house,” he said. “This year I’m expecting similar numbers if not more.”

Peck says he and his wife Kristen normally host a Halloween party every year and decided to go a step further and create moving displays and props outside.

His walk features life sized displays of Jason and Michael Myers as well as evil dead girl. He’s also got several friends that are helping out by getting dressed up and putting a fright into people who drop by.

“Ya well the admission is optional but donations will be forwarded to the Notre Dame Hospital in Hearst or the local food bank.”

Peck’s Fright Walk is open from 7 to 9 pm tonight (Tuesday) and tomorrow, (Wednesday) and from 7 to 10 pm on Halloween Night.
