OPP charge Iroquois Falls man after knife incident in Kapuskasing

Ontario Provincial Police have charged an Iroquois Falls man following a knife incident at a Kapuskasing restaurant on Monday.

Police were called to the business on Government Road West at 10 pm where a person was in possession of a knife. OPP say that due to a person’s behavior and threat to public safety the officers gained control of the knife.

A 30 year old man is facing charges of possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon, resisting a police officer and possession of cocaine.
