Glow in the dark corn maize is back this Sunday

The Glow in the Dark Corn Maze is back by popular demand at Kap River Farms this Sunday.

Organizer Selina Rogers says more than 700 people from across the area including Cochrane and Timmins went through last year. She adds the new design is dedicated to First Responders.

“This year we designed the maze with the fire department in mind, and we asked them who their charity would be and it’s the community angel program,” she said. “A portion of the proceeds will be going to that well 25 per cent of the gross proceeds.”

The Corn Maze is open from 4 to 11 pm with the Kap Fire Department in attendance along with the Warm Belly Soup Kitchen, live music and several other vendors.

She adds that there are a variety of ways to get tickets.

“They just go onto Facebook and the Kap River Farms page,” she said. “They can find the information there and see the posters as well as send us a message. If you want to secure a spot for that night with your request time. You can e-transfer that way once we have a confirmation.”

You can also get tickets at Kap River Farms tomorrow afternoon and as well on the day of.

Rogers encourages everyone to dress for the weather conditions.
