The Northern Times issue of July 4th featured a story and photo about a doubles tournament spread out over six weeks.
It involved 15 teams of senior players, but the article mentioned how more young people were increasing the tennis club’s membership.
That same week, the Times carried a story about Grade 12 student Julie Plouffe staging a recital with her 30 dance students aged four to 17. She has begun teaching dance ten months earlier.
