Drugs, weapon seized in Constance Lake

Nishnawbe Aski Police stepped up their investigation of a house on the Constance Lake First Nation involving drug trafficking.  They raided the home Tuesday night, arrested three people and seized about 30-thousand dollars worth of drugs, drug paraphernalia, cash and a gun..

A 40-year-old man and 33-year-old woman are up on several charges and were remanded in custody.

A 64-year-old man faces a single charge of possession of oxycodone for the purpose of trafficking, He was released on conditions.

40-year-old man:

  • Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of OxyContin for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Hydromorphone for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Careless Storage of a Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition · Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
  • Failure to Comply with Release Order

33-year-old woman:

  • Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of OxyContin for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Hydromorphone for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Careless Storage of a Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  • Fail to Comply with Undertaking

64-year-old man:

  • Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking.
