The Porcupine Health Unit is expanding the number of services you can book online, instead of having to call your local PHU office.
Chief nursing officer Chantal Riopel says it’s an expansion of a system that’s been in use for almost a decade.
“It’s been part of our influenza vaccine clinics, and then during COVID, we did use the online booking system for our COVID-19 vaccine,” she says. “We’re adding some sexual health clinics in our nurse-led clinics, as well as some of our immunization clinics here at the health unit.”
Riopel adds that online booking allows you to make the booking at a time convenient to you and manage your appointments from home without calling the health unit.
