The most colourful event of the year in Kapuskasing goes tomorrow — and it’s not a fundraiser.
The Northern Vibrancy Committee, which promotes healthy living, is staging “I’m Living It In Colour”.
Committee member Kelly Kraby says starting at 11:00am, you can join in on foot, bike, skateboard or whatever on a five-kilometre route. The colour part comes in at five sponsored stations along that route.
“They shower you with coloured powder if you want it,” she outlines. “It’s just another fun way to do this event.”
The powder comes in blue, red, pink, yellow and purple, and it’s dry.
“Chances are it’s going to rain,” Kraby chuckles. “so the colour might stick to you even more.”
Registration and warm-ups begin at ten o’clock near the tennis courts at Riverside Park.
