Miss Northern Corridor Setting Sights On Provincial Success

One year later, and she’s got her feet just that much more under her.

According to Jany Scherer, the winner of last year’s Miss Northern Corridor Pageant, the current work going into her next is fruitful.

Scherer says she has her sights set on the Miss Northern Ontario Pageant taking place in Sudbury, and says the year she took to travel and learn about life has also helped her with her with this competition.

Scherer says this competition will be tougher, considering there are added components.

“It is a little tougher, there are alot of components that were not in the Miss Northern Corridor Pageant, but it is still super exciting to keep going forward and to try and make the community proud too of what I’m doing and to put Kapuskasing out there.”

She also mentions that she has her sights set on a top ten to top 15 finish despite a field of 50 plus ladies.

“I’m definitely aiming top 10 but no matter the outcome I’m super proud of myself to just to be out there, but there is 52 girls in this year’s pageant so placing top 10 would be amazing, but even placing top 15 I would be satisfied with that.”

If people would like to help sponsor Scherer on her pageant journey you are welcome to find her on wish me luck page online and keeping up with her social media posts.
