Ginette Francine Dallaire is being honoured as a Remarkable Canadian by the Governor General of Canada at a ceremony today at Rideau Hall in Ottawa.
The Hearst resident is being recognized for her 25 years of volunteer service within her community, spearheading a numerous amount of fundraising initiatives.
These initiatives include her work with the Conseil des Arts de Hearst and the Notre-Dame Hospital Foundation.
Dallaire is one of 40 recipients receiving recognition during the ceremony today that begins at 10:30am.
