Kapuskasing’s new pool project received a boost from the 2017 budget.
Committee Chair of New Pool Fundraising Gilbert Peters says the town has decided to open an in-trust account at La Caisse Populaire to collect funding.
Peters says the town’s decision has made him very happy.
He also says the bank has indicated it is ready to make a donation to help the project.
Peters says thanks to this progress he is extremely pleased with the current outlook for the new pool.
